I am so excited to start the Blue Water Speech Therapy blog. I have so many fun ideas and so much information to share with you. I love kids and I hope you do to. This blog is going to take you on a learning adventure that involves engaging your child and having a blast while doing it. I am originally from Mobile Alabama and when you meet me you might notice I have a slight southern accent. I am a certified Speech Language Pathologist and I have the best job in the whole world. I get to have fun, laugh all day, play games, make kids smile and most of all help families grow. Sound exhausting? Well it is, let me tell you! By the end of the day I am worn out. I have sore legs from dancing, a sore throat from singing and a sore face from smile so much. But it’s awesome! I get the opportunity to watch kids meet huge milestones every day. Each child’s progress is individualized and unique to their challenges. Research has proven that early intervention is helpful for most kids. There is so much joy in watching children grow and I have dedicated my career to helping spread God’s love for all children.
